Cutout Precision Matters
A good insert:
- Fits the product exactly
- No rattling when shaken
- Product sits just below the surface
- Easy to remove
- No sharp edges
Common Insert Mistakes
- Loose cutout — Product rattles inside
- Wrong material — Velvet for heavy products (doesn’t protect)
- Too deep cavity — Product falls in, hard to reach
- Wrong color — Clashes with box or product
- No sample test — Cutout doesn’t match actual product
