Corporate Gift Trunk Boxes: Executive Client Gift Packaging with Vintage Suitcase Design
A client gift box says “thank you.” A client gift trunk says “you’re important.” The difference is the suitcase design — it’s something the recipient keeps on their bookshelf, not on the recycle pile. Here’s what corporate gift buyers should know.

Why Buyers Ask About Corporate Gift Trunk Boxes
Corporate gifting is a (200–)500 per-contact exercise. The gift inside — tea, wine, electronics, local specialties — is the content. The trunk that carries it is the presentation. A plain cardboard box gets opened once and thrown away. A vintage-style trunk with leather handle and brass corners gets kept, reused, and remembered.
If you’re a corporate gift buyer, HR manager, or event organizer sourcing executive gift packaging, the key questions are: can the supplier produce a trunk that looks like a real vintage suitcase, with working latches, a comfortable handle, and a clean interior for custom inserts?

Common Corporate Gift Trunk Mistakes
- Too heavy | Recipients carry these; use lightweight rigid board
- Loose handle | The handle holds the weight; rivet it properly
- Bright colors | Corporate gifts should be neutral; gray, black, navy, brown
- Logo too big | The trunk is the gift; keep the logo subtle
- No interior divider | Gifts rattle around; add a divider or foam insert
- Cheap hardware | Shiny plastic corners look cheap; use metal
- No lid pocket | A lid pocket holds cards, brochures, or thank-you notes
