Why Strength Matters

A weak box crushes in shipping. Products break, returns happen, customers complain.

Getting the right strength is as important as the right size.

Key Strength Metrics

Metric	What It Measures
Edge Crush Test (ECT)	Stacking strength
Burst Strength	Puncture resistance
Mullen Test	Overall durability

Single-Wall vs. Double-Wall

	Single-Wall	Double-Wall
السماكة	~3-5mm	~7-10mm
Stacking strength	متوسط	مرتفع
Weight	الضوء	Heavier
التكلفة	Lower	Higher
Best for	Light products, short shipping	Heavy products, long shipping

Rule of thumb: If your product weighs over 10kg, use double-wall.

Stacking Strength

Stacking strength = how much weight a box can hold on top of it.

This matters if:

Your boxes are stacked in a warehouse

They’re stacked in shipping containers

They’re on a pallet

Weak boxes = crushed inventory.

When to Upgrade Strength

Situation	Recommended Board
Light products (<5kg)	Single-wall, E flute
Medium products (5-10kg)	Single-wall, B flute
Heavy products (>10kg)	Double-wall
Long shipping / ocean freight	Double-wall
Fragile products	Double-wall + inserts
Stacked on pallets	Double-wall, high ECT
