Why Buyers Ask About Promotional Game Set Boxes

A customer gets a branded coaster — it goes in a drawer. A customer gets a branded mahjong set — it comes out every Friday night with friends. That’s 52 brand impressions a year, at a cost of (15–)25 per set. No billboard, no social ad, delivers that kind of repeated exposure.

If you’re a brand marketing manager, FMCG promotion buyer, or beverage brand agency sourcing promotional game sets, the key questions are: can the supplier produce a multi-drawer rigid box that holds chips, dice, and branded tiles, and match your brand’s Pantone color exactly?

Common Promotional Game Set Mistakes

Thin drawers | Drawers should slide smoothly; use sturdy rails

Loose chips | Chips rattle in the tray; cut tight slots

Wrong brand color | Blue isn’t blue — match the exact Pantone

No lid art | The lid is the billboard; use full-color campaign graphics

Flaking print on tiles | Tiles get handled constantly; use durable UV print

Too heavy | These ship to customers; use lightweight board

No unboxing moment | The first open should feel premium; add a magnetic lid

FAQ for Procurement Teams

Q: What is the MOQ for promotional game set boxes?

A: Standard MOQ is 500 sets. For simpler single-lid boxes without drawers, we can start at 300 sets.

Q: Can you produce the full game set (tiles, chips, dice + box)?

A: We manufacture the box and foam insert. Tiles, chips, and dice are sourced from our partner factories — we can coordinate the full set or just the box per your request.

Q: Can you match our brand Pantone color?

A: Yes. We require your Pantone code and produce a color proof for approval before mass production.

Q: How long is production lead time?

A: Sample: 10–14 days. Mass production: 25–35 days for 500–1000 sets, depending on drawer complexity.

Q: Can you design the lid artwork?

A: We work from your approved print files. If you need design support, we can recommend graphic design partners — the artwork itself should come from your marketing agency.
