Backgammon Board Game Cases: Navy Leatherette Briefcase Boxes with Printed Points and Checker Storage
A backgammon game case doubles as board and storage: closed, it travels as a slim leatherette briefcase with handle and latches; opened, the two halves become the playing surface with printed triangle points, and the compartments hold checkers, dice, and dice cup. For board game brands, casino-style gift producers, promotional game distributors, and collector gift suppliers, this convertible rigid case combines transport protection, a built-in board, and a premium presentation that suits home, travel, and corporate gifting.

Why Buyers Ask About Folding Board Game Cases
Board game manufacturers, strategy game brands, gift set distributors, and promotional product companies need a case that protects heavy checkers and keeps game pieces organized, rather than a loose board plus separate bag. A paper board tears under repeated play, and loose pieces scatter in shipping. A rigid leatherette briefcase opens into a firm playing surface, stores every component in built-in zones, and carries brand styling on the exterior straps, handle, and lid panel. Buyers ask about board material for flat play, point strip alignment, checker compartment fit, latch and handle durability, and how the case folds closed without trapping pieces.
If you’re a board game brand buyer, strategy game producer, gift supplier, casino accessory distributor, or corporate game gift purchaser sourcing custom folding board cases, the key questions are: can the supplier build a convertible leatherette briefcase case with a flat playing board, fitted checker and dice storage, durable handle and latches, and custom exterior branding?

Common Folding Game Case Mistakes
- Board warps when open | Reinforce both halves so the playing surface stays flat during play
- Point strips peel at the edges | Bond strips firmly to a rigid base before the felt or fabric finish
- Checkers don’t fit the storage zone | Size compartments to actual checker diameter and stack height
- Latch misses when pieces are inside | Close with the full set stored to verify clearance before production
- Handle bracket weakens under case weight | Reinforce mounts and load-test the full game set weight
- Board surface slides under pieces | Choose a stable, non-slip felt or leatherette playing surface
- Case gapes after repeated opening | Hinge and latch positions must align on both halves
FAQ for Procurement Teams
Q: What is the MOQ for custom backgammon and board game cases?
A: Standard MOQ is 200 cases per design. Simplified rigid game boxes without metal handle and latches can start at 100 units.
Q: Can the board layout and storage be designed for our own game?
A: Yes. Send game dimensions, piece count, and component sizes; we lay out the playing surface, checker zones, dice wells, and pockets around your game components.
Q: What exterior colors and branding methods can you produce?
A: Leatherette wraps in navy, brown, black, tan, red, and custom Pantone colors; branding via foil stamping, embossing, debossing, printed straps, and fixed metal badges on the exterior.
Q: Do you supply the game pieces, dice, and cup along with the case?
A: We focus on the custom case and fitted interior; we can coordinate compatible checkers, dice, and dice cup suppliers, or fit compartments for components you already source separately.
Q: What is the lead time?
A: Sample: 12–18 days. Mass production: 30–40 days for 200–500 cases, depending on board surface, storage layout, and hardware complexity.
